About the Journey . . .

I have embarked on a Fulbright Specialist Assignment to better understand similarities and differences in policing and the Criminal Justice systems in the U.S. and Ireland.

Working with the University of Limerick Law School, I have been assigned to assist in the review and accreditation of a few advanced training programs of the Garda College for university credit.

I have begun to tour and meet with command staff and unit chiefs for the An Garda Siochana. They have been very welcoming and receptive.

This Blog will help to chronicle many of the visits and thoughts of this incredible opportunity!
