Visit to Cork Prison

Students from SHU in Dingle visited Cork Prison. We were allowed full access to the prion, which houses 275 prisoners. Clean and respectful inmates. We learned of the philosophy of human rights and mutual respect. Assistant Chief Michael Walsh provide a tour and full explanation of the Irish Prison System, and we met with Governor Patrick Dawson.
