After 6 weeks, we are back in the USA. Before that, we had spent another 3 weeks in Dingle with SHU in DIngle.
What an incredible journey and opportunity!
Many from the University of Limerick, the University of Limerick Law School, the Kemmy Business School, the Irish Fulbright Commission and hundreds of members of An Garda Síochána (AGS) have been incredibly friendly, open, honest, funny and helpful.
I look forward to returning and a continued relationship for sharing and collaboration between Worcester State University and University of Limerick. I also look forward to continuing and expanding the relationship with the many at UL Law, and AGS in the future. There is so much to be shared and learned from each other.
Special thanks to Shane Kilcommins, Head of UL Law, Jean McCarthy, Kemmy School of Business, Emma Loughney and Sonya McGuiness of the Irish Fulbright Commission, and Ben Cohen from World Learning.
From An Garda Síochána, special thanks to Inspector Andrew Lacey, Sergeants John

Flanagan, Eddie Brennan and Liam O'Malley from AGS, Brendan O'Connor, retired member Liam Fenney.
My apologies for several who I did not mention. Every call I made or door I knocked on was met with a willingness to talk and share!
Andy Lacey was my POC for all things Ireland and Garda! He is a great Ambassador for Ireland!
Again, many thanks to everyone who helped and participated, along the way. We'll miss the beauty of Ireland and its great, friendly and industrious people!

I am hopeful that the AGS Transformation and Modernization efforts take hold and do not lose steam, as they are essential for the organization.
At Worcester State University, the fall semester starts soon and students will be waiting to find out what is expected from them for their courses. I look forward to getting back to classes.
On reflection, I am a very lucky man for the opportunity to live and work in Ireland. Kathy and I, Kimberlee and Katelyn got an up-close and personal opportunity to get to know the beauty of Ireland and its people!
