I was invited to speak at a Fulbright event last night at the University of Limerick. Dr. Jean McCarthy and Emma Loughney of the Irish Fulbright Commission, and Dr. Shane Kilcommins, Head of the UL Law School coordinated the lecture.
Jean is a faculty member of the Kemmy Business School, newly accredited AACSB. She serves as UL's Ambassador for Fulbright, a faculty member at the Kemmy Business School.

Dr. Johnny Connolly, an Irish Research Council/Irish Council for Civil Liberties research fellow at UL Law also presented. Johnny was a member of the Commission on the Future of Policing in Ireland. The lecture was held at the A&L Goodbody Appellate Moot Court Room in the library of UL.
The lecture was chaired by Dr. Shane Kilcommins, Head of the Law School at UL. The focus of the lecture was Leadership and Policy Implications from Government Report on Policing in Ireland and the U.S. Discussions surrounded the two reports and the action of the Irish Government to implement many of the findings and recommendations from the Future of Policing in Ireland Report.
In attendance were members of the Garda from Limerick and Dublin, graduate and post-graduate students from UL Law and faculty from UL Law and the Kemmy Business School.
It was an honor and privilege to participate in this event!
