Paid a second visit to Galway and met with a foot patrol and later stopped by to the Mill Street Garda Station to chat with the on-duty sergeants.

I talked with these two Gardai on the bridge at lower Mill Street. They were on patrol on a Sunday afternoon. One was a new Garda and the other was her Tutor (FTO). We spoke of the changes in the organization, their training and the importance of community-mindedness. They were great ambassadors for AGS!

I also stopped by the Mill Street Garda Station, and got the chance to meet with the sergeants on duty. On a decent Sunday, Galway was packed with visitors. The Galway International Arts Festival was winding down and the Galway Horse Races start tomorrow. Lots of planning was going on.
